Went on an 11 day cruise. I was dissapointed with the tiny little air cakes on the ship. They were not good at all, just light and fluffy nothings! There was a chocoholic fest, and the cakes were a lot better and the choc sculptures were pretty good. But the was only one night. I thought I was going to get better goodies than what I could make. Well...next time I will have to pack some cake along. I missed CC, glad to be back in the cake.
I am SOOOO Jealous!!! I love Hawaii. I was last there on our Honeymoon and that was our 9th or 10th time... I stopped counting. We've gone no where really since the kids were born except this past summer, our first 'family trip' when his parents funded a trip to Disney World with the kids and they came along to help! Whew.... won't do that again till all are out of diapers! But it was a fun trip none the less... anything would have been great not having gone anywhere in almost 7 years.

HAWAII! You LUCKY WOMAN! I'd love to go someday. I've been on a few cruises and they are THE BEST VACATIONS EVER!
Speaking of cruises....I may be getting into the travel business selling cruises and land packages, so anyone here interested in traveling, you know who to come to!
I love Hawaii too, I got married 6 months after Sept 11th and they were really hurting for tourism (Maui at least) but we had a blast. My husband and I would love to go back someday but it will have to be when we are done having babies and they are older. I think my favorite parts were whale watching and snorkling around Lanai......I did take a cruise in the Carribean a few years back and was also disappointed in the goodies, to me not much of it was good at all!! In the future, the hubby and I are just going to plan our own vacations...no more cruises, I dont like being herded onto the ship at each port, assigned dinner times etc....but most people LOVE them...I think its totally me and my not loving crowds.

I was stationed in Hawaii for three years, and I love love love love LOVE it there!!! I went back to visit last year when two of my dearest friends in the world got married. 
If any of you ever want help with vacation plans to Hawaii, feel free to ask me questions--I could talk about it non-stop for days!

I flew into Honolulu to board the ship, went to Hilo Hawaii, Lahaina Maui, Nawiliwili Kauai, Fanning Island/ Republic of Kiribati, Kona and then back to Honolulu. Had a great time, learned a lot, went to craft classes made leis from kukui nut shells and ribbon, made a fish out of palm fronds. It took 2 days to get to Fanning Island. The shows were good (magic and comedy) ate too much food. This is the first time I got DH on a boat after 21 yrs of marriage. Now he is ready to go again. 
Took a helicopter ride for the first time, went to aquarium in Maui, Had a wonderful trip.
Put me in the jealous boat too...... congrats for getting to go and welcome back...
