I'm trying to make a wrestling cake and want to make some steps outside of the cake were the wrestlers go up. How would you go about making steps that would look pretty good. Thanks ya'll; I'm using fondant.

If they don't need to be edible, I would use cardboard or foam. If they are to be eaten, I would bake a thick cake and then freeze it. Then cut it into steps. Then cover with fondant. It must be frozen or you will end up with crumbly mess!

Why not do it with fondant in three pieces. The bottom step a complete square the depth you want your first step, then make another the same depth but only 2/3rds the bottom and then the last one 1/3rd of the bottom and just stack them on top of each other. Good luck
