Lime Curd

I found some lime curd reduced at Williams Sonoma and purchased it because it sounded intriguing. Now, what do I do with it? Thanks!

You can add it to a mousse and make lime curd mousse and fill a cake with it. I've done it with both orange and lemon curds and it tastes delicious. There is a recipe for it in the Whimsical Bakehouse book that is really simple to make. Just whipped cream, powdered sugar, beat it until stiff peaks form and then carefully fold in the lime curd.

I've seen a lot of cake in the gallery and in the forum that suggets coconut cake with the lime mousse/buttercream. I'm trying that combo for my sisters birthday.

I would eat it directly with a spoon!

You could use it to make little tarts. Or use it straight for a filling. I've mixed lemon curd with buttercream and had great results.
