I have seen the receipe for a Chocolate Mud Cake:
http://cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2417-Chocolate-mud-cake.html
and I wanted to try making it but I live in the UK and need some help converting the measurements of cups of flour, sugar, cocoa and sour cream into a weight that i can measure out. I don't have any US measuring cups but on my next trip over I will certainly buy some.
Thanks for your help
Penny

Hi, I have PMd you, but my system keeps giving me an error.
I am an American living in Cambridgeshire. I can get you new Amer. measuring cups and spoons and post them to you in the next few days if you would like.
It seems that using the conversions is often trial and error.
Happy to help if I can.
Ann
Penny, I didn't think that was an American recipe, since part of the ingredients are given by weight, and the temperature is in Celsius not Fahrenheit.
I don't think the cups are American but UK or maybe AU or NZ.
Here are two other mud recipes that are from NZ:

Oh, there's an error in Boonenati's mud recipes - the baking temp. should be 160 Celsius not 180.
Here's a thread on that:
