Hello All. I just had a request for a cake in April. I was told the cake should feed 60 people, cheese cake mousse for filling and maybe cream cheese icing. I did this cake for a bigger crowd of people, if you look in my photos you see the four ace's cake. I used four 1/4 quarter sheet cakes for that one and four batches of mousse and two batches of cc icing. The only thing I would do different on this next cake is I would use fondant instead of the paint mist I used on the first one. The one in my photos I donated and as easy as it looks it took my around 8 hours to do, I had a few things not working with my that day. I would bake ahead of time as I always do and freeze. Make my filling & icing the two days before and put it together the night before it is needed. So I need to know how much cake I would need and a price to charge? Also do you charge a delivery fee or have them pick it up? Thanks Megan

Couldn't you maybe just make a 12x18 sheet? That should feed almost 60 people. I would definitly charge for delivery unless they pick it up. The going rate is $.485 cents a mile to and from location. I know for a basic sheet I would charge $60 but if you do the fondant and other accents I would definitly charge more maybe $75-$80? Hope this helps!

I think the person really wants the cake to look just as the one in my photos of the four aces. I want to do the decorations in fondant to make it easier on me. I thought if I made my own stencils and cut the fondant it would look better. I really would like this cake to look alot better than the one in my photos. Thanks for the help.
