I don't think it's bad you didn't tell her about this site. Most of us find it by a happy accident. This lady sounds a bit too pushy for my taste, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to tell her either. If she asks again, just tell her that as much as you are flattered by the questions, you are trying to make a go of this business wise, and at this time, you don't feel like sharing your secrets are in your best interest. And then tell her to find another sucker to mooch off of.

I consider CC my 'secret weapon'. When people ask me where I learn things, get ideas, etc, I just say 'the internet'
It's not that hard to find if someone wants to bother to do a little research on their own. The last time I googled "cake decorating" CC was the first result!!

YEP!!!! Me too!!!! When I first found this site I was sooo excited!!! I wanted to tell everyone!! Now though, I definitely hold my cards close to my chest!!! LOL!! Nothing wrong with being vague! You're protecting your livelyhood!!
