I would put in the freezer for a bit and then put a crumb coat on it. Let that dry and it should be good. Hope this helps.
When this happens to me, I usually try and "glue" the two pieces together with icing and a large tip to get it in the crack good. Depending on your icing, you might have to chill the whole thing for awhile before you ice it all, or it can pull apart when you're trying to ice the cake. You may want to ice it extra thick over the crack so you can't see any bumpiness. Hope this helps!
