I just added 2 new cakes to my album. They look better than my first cake, but I still have a long way to go!
Your flowers on the second cake in your gallery look great. I do not do flowers yet. Thankfully, no one has asked for flowers yet. I know it is coming and am going to order the DVD on flower making by Wilton. The classes around here are an hour away, and frankly, the 1st and only class I took, I really did not learn any more than I already knew, except for the rose, and I totally suck at making the rose.
If anyone has suggestions on how to make the rose, I will be glad to accept them.
Cake decorating is addictive and you are always trying to improve. Keep up the good work!
I just tried to copy the drop flowers in the Wilton 1 book. Some look better than others. I mainly had to focus on turning the bag in the right direction and applying the correct amount of pressure..not always easy! I didn't have enought left over BC to do the middle.
