I have somone that gave me a 50th Birthday Certificate that they would like put on the cake. Any suggestions on how to do that so that it wouldn't get messy or greasy? Maybe cover it in contact paper or something?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

You could cover it in clear contact paper, or laminate it. Or maybe you could have it made into an edible image. I understand there are some bakeries out there that will do this for a small fee.

I would go with laminating it. It only costs about $1 at a staples or office depot and from my experience it is the strongest and doesn't ruin any of your items. If you are extremely worried about putting it on there and it getting ruined, make a color copy of it and then laminate...for sure won't get ruined that way.

thanks for the great tips, I think I'll go ahead and get it laminated.
