How Long Does Glace Icing Take To Dry?

I need to make a cookie bouquet for this evening but I got a late start today. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for glace icing to dry?
I'm not really sure at all.
But if it takes longer than what you have, you might want to think about using MMF.
Usually when I use RI, it only takes a few hours so I'm thinking the glace is about the same, but I'm not sure!
I hope you get a better answer
Good luck!
The only help I can provide is that I know I've read somewhere that glace takes longer to dry than RI...My RI (Antonia's recipe) always dries fast(in a few hours).
If you are really pressed for time, maybe use MMF or Chocolate with RI accents?
Let us know how it turns out!
glace icing takes a lot longer to dry. in toba garrett's booki it says it takes about 15 hours. i have bagged after 12 hours, but i wouldn't go any less than that. overnight is usually ok depending on when you have to bag them the next day and when you finish decorating. i can't seem to get to bed before 2AM
