Sorry, I don't know, came to look at the answers. I want to buy one but don't know the specifications. If I found out I'll let you know

I just got one from airbrush city in Idaho. Anyway, I can't remember the specifics, but I'm fairly certain it shouldn't need to be over 60 psi, at the most. They have an airbrush kit (compressor and airbrush) that's supposed to be really good for cake decorating. I will be trying mine in the next couple of days (have to work around small children.) HTH

I don't know either, but you can do a search in the forums using the keyword "airbrush" and there a a lot of posts on the topic. I am sure it has been discussed.

unfortunatly most of the posts do not mention the specifics of the compressor icon_cry.gif I have been looking at airbrush city and I like the 1620 airbrush and was thinking about the 144ac compressor it is adjustable and goes to 57 psi I just wanted others opinions before I bought them because I have no idea about compressors.

I got the 144ac compressor with the GD100 airbrush. There was a problem with the airhose, so they're sending me another one right now, but I had the compressor running (supposed to run it without anything attached for 5 mintues the first time you turn it on) and it really is quiet (for an air compressor). I don't have to shout over it to be heard.

Here is a post about which airbrush and compressor to get. Not sure if this will help or not:

I searched in the forums under keyword "compressor" and got a lot of matches.

I have been told anything over 15 psi will blow the icing off your cake icon_lol.gif
