Ok, this is just my speed! A couple of weeks ago I had a bad fall in a parking lot just after leaving physical therapy for my right thigh....and wouldn't you know it I found out just late tonight on my visit to the emergency room with my son(the house cluts!) who ran into a tall TV stand at the church this evening, and cut his face open just past his eye(he had 2 stitches), that I have been walking around with a broken foot!!! Everyday I have been having more and more pain, and this night it was at it's worst. My DH decided that I should have it looked at. Bless his heart.........

Not what I needed right now! I can't drive, as it's the right foot....GRR!!! And I have a wedding cake coming up in a few weeks!! My big order! I am going to take my pain meds, and a sleeping pill and try to forget this day ever happened!!!

All I need now is for someone to shut my hand in a door and.......you know the rest!! LOL

Oh and in case you were wondering, my son was there to help with a dinner, and went into the childrens nursery with his brother to show off for the little kids......guess the joke was on him!! Goof ball, that boy has been a walking accident since he learned to walk!! Poor kid, he'll be ok though in a week or so.

Okay, if I didn't know better, I would have thought you were talking about me and my kids. It seems that we have done nothing but get hurt here too. Christmas Eve I dropped a present on my foot and fractured my big toe. My son and daughter are 2 yrs. old, and needless to say are always getting hurt. I used to live at Ft. Lewis a couple of years ago, and wish I was there now to help you out. Hope the meds worked for you tonight.

Good grief, what a week you've had. Nothing worse than to see your child hurt and in pain. So are you in a walking cast? Wish one of us lived close enough to come help you out with that cake. Feel better, both of you.

Thanks for the well wishes, but I have to "add" to my list....I just remembered that I have two dresses to finish sew for the Musical both my girls are in at the high school next week, (GREASE)!!! ARRRGGHHH!!!

Doesn't that just put the "icing" on the cake??!!!

I will try and run the presser foot with my left foot and see if that works! Wish me luck! Oh Brother!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Good luck! My son is a walking accident also and he bruises really easily, so even the littlest bump can look huge on him. Hope you feel better soon.
