I have seen so many beautiful gumpaste roses on all of your cakes, and to tel l you the truth, I have not been able to make a believable example, no matter how many different methods I try. I would love it if one of you talented individuals posted a tutorial on how to make a natural looking gumpaste rose. Anyone else interested?
I don't have a tutorial to post, but in the meantime, if you go to
sugarcraft.com
click on the GUMPASTE link at the top of the first (opening) page
When the gumpaste page comes up, click on GUMPASTE HOW-TO LESSONS: One (right under the customer service link)
On the new page, under "All About Gumpaste", click on one of the how to rose links.
The instructions and the diagrams might be helpful.
