Can someone please give me detail information on how to airbrush on a cake. What kind of ink to use? Any info will be greatly appreciated. thumbs_up.gif

You MUST buy airbrush colours... you'll just clog your airbrush if you try to thin down other colours!

Americolor offers airbrush colours, as does Kopykakes and a few other suppliers.

Take your time... dark colours should be created by several light passes... if you try to apply too much colour in one go, you'll just end up with drips.

PLAY WITH IT!!! Try it over stencils, freehand drawing, general coating, etc.

Thanks for the info. 1 last question. is the airbrush paint etible?

As long as you buy the ones that are designed for cake decorating... they're just a different kind of food colouring!
