I used the no fail cookie recipe. The cookie taste fine, but they are so hard. Was wondering since I don't have a mixer is it possible that I over mixed and/or knead my dough. I need them to be firm enough to stay on the stick, but not so hard that you think you'll break a tooth.... ![]()

Are you cooking them too long? My cookies are just under 1/2 inch thick and I cook them until I see a tint of brown. Hope this helps.
