Did you flour it as well? I usually just use Crisco, then put a light layer of flour, and haven't ever had a problem.
Yes..You need to flour the pans as well as grease them beforehand.I've never had a cake stick yet!!
I use only the Great Value brand canola spray from Walmart and in 3 years, I've never had a cake stick.
I had trouble with this at first also, so I feel your pain. I personally had no luck with the crisco and flour on the Wilton charactor pans (to much detail on pans.) I have been using the Witon cake release for the charactor pans and have had much better luck getting my cakes out of the pan. Hope this helps you.
Try Wilton's Cake Release, I use it especially on my 3D.
So with the cake release do u still need to use flour ?
Just use as is.
