i wonder if there is anyone there that could help me. I love cakes so much and i intend to start on a decorating level. but i do not know where to start. how do i make a basic decorating and what tools will i need.
Welcome! There are basic decorating kits that you can buy. Wilton has one. You can get it at Michael's, JoAnn... I started by taking Wilton decorating classes. Now I just bake cakes for everything so I can get the practice. Have fun! Reading the threads and browsing the gallery will sure teach you lots!
Here is another great idea for you, which is something I used to do. Have a bowl of buttercream icing in your fridge at all times, and have some in pastry bags with tips, just for practice. Then take it out whenever you have 15 minutes or so and practice basic techniques on the back of a dinner plate, or on an upsidedown cake pan. When you are done throw the icing back in the fridge, and wipe the plate or pan clean.
