To make an object out of royal icing, ie a monogram, can you design it on parchment paper, let dry then transfer?

Yes you pipe it onto parchment paper then let it dry then move it. Make several extras because they are very fragile and you may break some.

I agree!!!
Royal icing transfers are very nice to work with.
I do make extra though. They do like to break!

Sure you can.

However, if you're tracing a pattern, wax paper is recommended.
