I've decided that I'd like to add some fondant roses on a cake that I need to deliver Monday evening. I do not have any roses made yet though, which is a big problem. I got to thinking about ways that I could speed up the process and spied our food dehydrator sitting on the top shelf of our pantry. Has anyone tried this? Did it work? Any suggestions/tips? Thanks!!

Happy Baking,
Beth

Hi Beth;yes this is a good way to speed up the drying process so you can use them quicker.
But don't delay get them in there ASAP before you run out of time. They need to have hours to dry.

That is one great idea thumbs_up.gif can't see why it wouldn't work. I'd be really interested if you try it out and see how it works. It just makes sense. I was going to sell my dehydrator in a yard sale this spring for lack of use, but think I'll hang on to it now. Thanks for the idea...let us know how it works out for you....
