I will be doing a cake come the end of May for early June. Not knowing what the weather is going to be like I need ideas from you all. I need a filling and icing ideas that DON'T require to be in the fridge! Also what kind of cake would you recommend to go along with the filling and icing? Thanks Megan.

I highly recommend the WASC:

For the filling, I'm partial to raspberry. (Make it easy on yourself and just use the sleeved pastry filling.)
