If you could buy one cake decorating book which one would it be? One that has everything in it from beginners cake decorating to advanced.

I think that Toba Garrett's newest book is fantastic. Almost like attending a decoraing class.

I'm fairly new to cake decorating, and just bought Whimsical Bakehouse, and Cakes to Dream On. Both are inspirational for ideas/design, but both books do not provide explicit instructions -- so it would be tough for a novice decorator to understand.

I'd be curious to know what the CC experts choose as their #1 cake book.

I would buy Margaret Braun's only book and the latest from Collette Peters. Just eye candy really.
Wonderful
