Butter Extract Vs Butter Flavoring

I'm about to make my very first batch of icing for my Level 1 Wilton class and I don't know if butter extract is the same as butter flavoring. I hope it is cause I couldn't find the extract. icon_sad.gificon_smile.gif

i think the point is that it is clear. If your flavoring has a tint of color then your icing will too.

My butter extract is not clear, it is yellow.
