I have a conditon called piriformis syndrome, basically, the muscle inflames the siatic nerve and the muscle gets tight and will not release. It is very painfull. I have gone to 6 weeks of Physical Therapy and it is still there. My PT and I are very stumped. I have googled it and it says to have PT. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I am tired of pain in both hips all day long.

I have dealt with degenerative disks in L5 due to an injury when I was 12. I have tried everything! The only thing that rid the pain was getting epidural injections from a pain management specialist. If you do not want to go that route try acupuncture, helped more than PT and chriopracter. Also try an inversion table. I bought one. It is a table that lets you hand upside down, I lent it to a friend with a back injury and they loved it too. Just some suggestions, different things work for different people. There are more options so don't worry. PM me if you have any more questions.

I am terrified of needles. I pass out when I need them medicially. I do not think accupuncture is for me. Does it hurt? People say that shot don't hurt. I have never had a shot not hurt.

The needles are as thin as a strand of hair. My son had it doen for bed wetting when he was 8. Just dont tell him I posted that on the internet!! LOL The place I went to was very good. I went to a school to keep my cost down. If there is something in your area it might be worth checking out.
