recently i came across a site that showed a few demo's. It was very interesting, but i can't remember which site. And i never saved it. icon_cry.gif
I think the site also sold products. Not ateco. I remember seeing how to do a cake in chocolate wrap and a few more.

thanks!
Kat

Did you try Utube? They have a lot of videos. Also, try a search here on CC. I know there was a good post not too long ago with links. Anyway, I'll give you a bump and maybe someone else can help more.

Youtube used to, but now the videos are deleted for some reason. I also want to know. There are some articles on here that are helpful though.

This has quite a bit. If you post on the forum, though, DON'T tell them you're from here...

Ok, you got my curiosity running. Why can't you tell them that you're from here?

Too many negative comments about our site on there.
Nice people, but they consider us 'homemakers'. (I post occasionally under another name there)

Hmmm...that's interesting....considering they are "borrowing" one of Cake Central's photos for structural info on "Tilted Cake Construction."

Oh, well, but thanks for the tip!

Edited to say: oops, they did not "borrow" the picture, they linked it directly to CakeCentral.

Try cakesmadeeasy.com. I was getting daily short video clips and tips emailed to me. In the emails they will try and get you to buy their full length videos but they sometimes have some cute ideas and quick tips.

I Googled cake decorating and hit videos and got several. The ones with Trish from Utube was on there. Those are the best videos around.

Just a thought...have you tried looking in your web browser's history?

this was last week after i posted about where to buy supplies. So friday before going home from work i delete all my history, cookies and so on. icon_cry.gif
A lot of the sites posted on this post are very helpful. but none the one that i'm looking for. I mentioned one of the tutorials was to cover a cake with a chocolate wrap... i know there's a tutorial for that here in CC. But i figured if i find that tutorial i'll find the website that will lead me to the rest. thank you all very much for the links, help and suggestions. i really appreciate it.
i sorta have OCD when it comes to misplacing things or loosing things, it drives me nuts. icon_twisted.gif
