I was going to make a batch of royal icing today to practice making decorations. My question is this, can you store royal icing after it is made or do I need to use it or lose it right away? Thanks!

Royal icing can be stored covered on the counter for up to 2 weeks. I store mine in a covered container and put saran wrap over the frosting before it is covered to prevent air from drying it out.
