Cake Balls Question

This may be a silly question. Was just wondering, can cake flavor scraps be mixed or does it all have to be the same flavor?

I would think it shouldn't be a problem as long as they compliment each other. You could probably make a really yummy mix!

I have used raspberry liquerm orange liquer, and kahlua in my chocolate cake truffles (balls).

All together??? WoooHooo, them must be some really good cake balls!!! I was thinking about the cake though. You think it'd be okay to mix french vanilla, chocolate, spice cakes together in the same batch of cake balls?

Sorry, I should have clarified that. No, not all together. I would have everybody falling down. I just put a couple of shots of whichever liquer I want to flavor the truffles with. Got the recipe from this site.

I have found some powdered gourmet coffee flavors that I use sometime, but have to be careful and not add too much.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess the liquer sort of covers the different cake flavors then. I have the recipe for this site as well. I think I'm just going to give it a shot and see what works. Thanks.

I think I am gonna try and make some cake balls this weekend...they sound like they would taste like little donut holes.....I hope they taste like what I think they are going to taste like....

Just be careful not to add too much liquid. It is easier to add more to taste than add something to make the mixture thick again.
