I'm somewhat new to making fancier cakes, I decorate basic sheet cakes for a supermarket. I posted yesterday about cream cheese frosting and fondant, which appearently won't work, but I'd like to post a photo of the cake and maybe all of you talented people can help me out. Thanks so much. This cake is for my best friends baby shower.

The photo is a cake I believe I found on this site, I'm sorry I don't know who's it is.

I'm not sure what was posted about cream cheese frosting and fondant but I have done this, just recently, and it worked fine. I used the crusting cream cheese frosting from this site and MMF and I had no problems. If you look at my photos, it is the bikini cake.

What about covering it in rolled buttercream? I've seen it mentioned on this site but when I search for it I couldn't find anything. Would that be able to be refrigerated? Would the cream cheese frosting damage it?

I don't have any advice, but just wanted to let you know that the cake is one of Boween's beautiful creations. She is very helpful & I'm sure if you pm'd her she would help you out with it.

I was just going to say, I saw that cake and knew it belonged to Boween!! You should check out all her photos. I got a cute baby shower cake idea from her with little baby feet on it instead of the rattle.
