I just got an order for a violin cake, actual size, to feed 40 people. Any ideas??? Any templates???

Hmmm...maybe the guitar pan, double layered, filled and carved to shape?

this violin maker's site has a pattern that shows both flat shape of violin and side profile of the neck.

not sure even a full size violin would feed 40. more likely you need additional sheet or rounds to make the amount needed.
