I think it looks kinda neat. i have no idea how to use any of it and it completely boggles my mind. How many of you actually use it? on a regular basis? Can you now not live without it?

I'm just having a hard time figuring it out. I fiddled with it a little bit but the information it was calculating wasn't correct.

I looked at the cake matrix and tested it out, but decided it was easier for me to go by the calculator and I have a price sheet that we use as a guide. For odd designs I just increase the price a little or a lot.

It would be good, probably for someone just starting out pricing.

I also looked at it and the term "mind boggling" is a good description. Maybe because I don't charge for design elements (i.e. no extra charge for plastic decors, or flowers, or special flavors/fillings, etc), or maybe I've been doing it too long so I've got my "own system" already imbedded in my brain.

I can see where it might be a good tool for a starting point for someone just getting into this.
