hello everybody,

I need ideas for a first communion cake for a little boy. Anything helps, I don't know if you put in a bible or a cross. I'm kind of confused with baptism traditions

Thanks

A bible or a cross would be very nice...you could do the book pan and make it a bible - or the cross pan...my daughter is making her first communion this year so I will be doing a few of these cakes too !

Good Luck!

Wilton also carries little girl and little boy figurines for first communion. I picked those up so I'd have them at the appropriate times for my kids as well. The cross pan also works great.

a communion chalice and wafer is a classic design.

also, some pastor's give the confirmand a special verse for their first communion. If you can learn out what it is, that could be the inscription on the cake.
