Hi, I have a special cake to make for this weekend - a 50th birthday party for my boyfriend. I was thinking along the lines of a "Grease" - 50's theme. Does anyone have any other thoughts or suggestions or have you seen any pics for a cake like this? Thanks, Mary Ann
Adven68 did a beautiful 50's cake: http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=search&search=50s&cat=0&pos=1&search=50s
Hi,
I found this and thought maybe you could do a FBCT of it:

Also, anything to do with records, soda shops, poodle skirts, Elvis, etc. might work. Good luck!
Thought I would add this. FBCT stands for frozen buttercream transfer. Here is a link on how to do it.

Here's an advert from the 1950's.... a tad naughty but if you doing a cake with fifties themes it would be fun on a plaque
A jukebox
Or Superman was big in the 50's, a stamp was taken out to commemorate him.... be back in the news this year too with the new film...
Could put a slogan on it, Unlike Superman First seen in the 50's and now remodelled........... your our Original and Best!!!
I just google imaged 1950's to see what would come up.
I just posted a 50s themed cake to the photo gallery, maybe you can get some ideas from it. (Sorry, I don't know how to attach to this message!)
Thank you - it was fun to do! I got my inspiration from a "back to the 50s" cake, from Just Fab. Pastries. Their cakes are amazing!
