My resident manager came over to my apartment the other day to fix a light fixture in my kitchen and noticed my baking stuff. He asked me if I was a baker. I told him yes, that I bake cakes. Well we got to talking and I showed him my website and let him taste my bittersweet chocolate frosting and then he ordered a cake from me! It was so cool. Then later he sent me an email telling me that the Apartments were hosting a book exchange on the 22nd of this month and asked me if I would make something for it (paid by the apartments of course). He then asked if he could hand out my business cards and put me in the newsletter that they send out. Of course I said yes! I thought that was sooooo cool. Especially with Wedding season coming up icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for letting me share!!!

That's way cool ! Well, if you have a printer you can make business cards yourself, or find someone in your area who can design and print them for you for little payment or a cake in exchange icon_smile.gif I know my DH makes them for local people for like $10 for a hundred sheets. Printing shops are not very expensive either, that would be well worth it! Good luck !!

Good Luck!! Your lucky to have an apartment complex that will let you run a business out of it! Most where I live don't let people do that!

Enjoy all the business your going to get!

You can go to www.vistaprint.com and get free business cards. The designs are simple but they look nice. All you have to do is pay for the shipping. They will print put on the free cards "printed by Vista Print" (or something like that). You can also customize cards for a fee.

Hope this helps.
