do you by any chance have a kitchen scale? If you did you could weigh them. Otherwise, I would eyeball it, and make sure that you knead the last bit of sugar in by hand, so that you don't add too much.

the only 16 oz bags i've seen have been mini marshmallows. i think all the big mm's come in the 10 oz bags. but using about 1.5 bags or a little more should be fine.
