I have just finished a gift cake for a lady with a big floppy fondant bow on top, I just found out that it isn't going to be eaten until tommorrow. It has cream cheese icing, so it needs to be in the fridge, but what about the bow that is already attached? Will it wilt? Thanks, she is on her way to pick it up and I'm not sure what to do. thanks again, Katie

DON'T PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE!! I did a wedding cake last week with a fondant bow and put it in the fridge, when I took it out and the bow starting coming to room temp. it just starting to break and fall apart. I was on the other side of the room and kept hearing something and I went into the room where the cake was and pieces of the bow were hitting the floor. When I touched the bow it felt real moist or doughy, I am assuming the fridge did this. Luckily i had made a back up bow that had been sitting out for days so I just took the bad one off and put the other on. I would tell them that they should just position the bow on the cake when they are ready to put it out, and give it to them in a box. Hope this helps

Could you place "stuffers" in the loops? Maybe that would work?
