Okay... since I first asked about chocolate dipped potato chips, I have tried..... candy melts, ganache, (had some left over), plain chocolate chips, chocolate chips with a little added Crisco, chocolate chips with a little Karo........ They all TASTED great, but got ''soggy'' after about an hour.... icon_cry.gif I KNOW they make them.... they sell for BIG BUCKS!! Any other suggestions ?

Are you using Pringles? They work great and didn't get soggy on me. I've also used WalMart's store brand version of Pringle-type chips, and they're a little thicker. Maybe you could try those? I've dipped them in candy melts and in real chocolate.

I would assume that you would have to use tempered chocolate. This way, the chocolate completely sets up hard, leaving no room for moisture.
