Wow...Its snowing again...We have a pile of snow next to our driveway (the entire length of our drive way that is). Its the biggest pile I've seen in a long time, its close to 8ft tall. My kids "disappear" in the back yard..

I can't wait for spring!

Tell me about it. It finally warmed up here in Ohio to about 55 degrees today and it was like a heat wave! The snow is all melted, except for those huge snow piles left by the plows and those areas that are constantly shadowed by the house. It's a mud zone though! Can't wait for warm weather to dry up all the wetness...and to plant a veggie garden again! YUM!

I'm not trying to rub it in here, because we have brutal summers here by St. Louis, but we've had a whole big 10 inches of snow here all winter and it was in the 60's all week!
I have the windows open!

THE MORE SNOW THE BETTER FOR ME..... but yes like JodieF said we have had some other decent weather this week, but it's supposed to get in the 50s again this week..... I LOVE SNOW....but HATE the cold...so inmy opinion if it isn't snowing there is no need for cold weather.....if it's not snowing it should be in the 70s-80s but thats it......

I'm done with the cold weather too!! I love snow and really like winter most of the time but I am D-O-N-E. We left up in the house a lot of the non-holiday snow decorations after the holidays. I promptly took them all down this weekend.

I WANNA GO OUTSIDE AND GET SOME SUN... I NEED THE VITAMINS. I NEED TO LAY IN THE GRASS AND GROW ROOTS!!!!!

k... i'm better now :S

It's been in the 40s and 50s for almost a week now but the snow's going to take forever to go away. Most of the yard has close to a foot right now and it's been melting for days.
My kids say I'm terrible because I won't let them play in the melting snow anymore but where they like to play is in a big dip that will gather at least 8" of water before it dries.

The little one makes up for it by coming in covered in mud from the spots that have opened.

The snow is gone! Or is it???? The weather has been 70's for 2 days in central Illinois, but it is going to get cold again tomorrow. I have a theory about snow this time of year. My birthday is March 3rd and for as long as I can remember there has been at least one snowfall that day or later. This year it snowed on the 3rd, so I'm hopeful that is the last of it. It use to be joke to my hubby, but he has become a believer and snow watcher with me. The year I was born it snowed on Easter, so you never know!

After several days of nice warm weather I rolled over this morning and saw snow on the window. icon_cry.gif I rolled the other way and refused to look out the window for 30 minutes.

Here I was hoping that by next week the snow would be gone.

I just found this topic this am. I am so tired of the snow. I live on top of a mountain, sandwiched between 2 dairy farms and the snow here is just yucky!!! icon_cry.gif The weather up here is either snowing or blowing almost 6 1/2 mos a year. In the summer, it is still a little cooler than in the village. We got almost 3 feet on Valentines Day, snow melted I finally had grass in my yard, icon_lol.gif then...... St. Patricks Day came, we got another 2 feet. YUCK!!!!!! I know, I live in Vermont get over it, but ENOUGH already. Bring on spring, I need color!!!!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Today is was 78*. We rarely ever get severe cold. Not good for fleas or mosquitoe season. Mowing has barely slowed down all winter. This summer will be blistering. Please send some snow down south. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I think we finally gotten over the hump with the nasty weather, it is now time for our 5th season here in the north. MUD ! icon_eek.gif I had to go out this am and the road was frozen which meant that my new van wouldn't sink in the muddy ruts made by the big tractor-trailer milk trucks, I just returned, and now the road is starting to thaw out. I hope I don't sink later when I go to the Bridal show today. I wish I could send some of this snow to LA, or at least some of the cooler temps. today shouldn't be too bad, maybe in the upper 50"s or low 60"s. At least the sun is shining. Hope you don't get too hot there this summer, it is **** on those delicate icings. Have a great day.
