Okay, this may sound really stupid but what pan size is considered 1/2 sheet cake? Is it an 11x15? That's what I think it is, but I'm not sure!!! Someone please get me straight!!!!

1/4 sheet cake =? pan size

1/2 sheet cake= ? pan size

full sheet cake= ?pan size

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this, but I know someone out there will help me with this!!!

Thanks!

I used to work in a bakery and our sizes were--
1/4 sheet--9x13
1/2 sheet--12x18
Full sheet-- 18x26

Although at home, I use an 11x15 for my 1/2 sheet so I don't have to trim it to fit on the boards I use. Plus, it uses 2 cake mixes instead of 2 1/2.
Hope this helps!!!!!!!!

I agree with Kazoot. Those are the same sizes I go by except that I use the full 12x18 as my 1/2 sheet & I offer the 11x15 if someone needs somewhere between 1/4 & 1/2 sheet.

This so varied by the area you live in... There are many different answers to this question. I highly recommend calling your local bakeries and finding out what sizes their cakes are. HTH
