This isn't applied to a cake yet, being that I dont need to deliver until fri afternoon, but I had to peak! PLease be brutally honest. The pink bled a little at the bottom but thats ok b/c I want to add some dimension with some accents of BC and lots of sparkle! Any suggestions on sparkling it after it is on the cake??
oh it is supposed to be Princess Genevieve from Barbie 12 dancing princesses.
Eyes are really hard! any suggestions?
can't seem to attach it here, so i'll put it in my gallery under princess genevieve
I'm sure it will be very cute! You did a good job and the eyes look fine-those can be difficult! I LOVE edible glitter for little girl cakes. I prefer the white nine times out of ten. I crunch them up a little smaller, then sprinkle them on EVERYTHING.
it started off being harder that I thought, because I was so intimidated. But once I got going it wasn't to bad. I was fun to color like a kid again! I would try it agoin I think, plus the icing is SSOOO much better than wilton's BC
It looks very nice, especially for your first time. Now I've not done one of these before so I'm not sure what can and can't be done, but I looked at the eyes specifically, because you mentioned them and the one thing I noticed was they didn't have any eyebrows or eyelashes. I think that would make a difference to the look of the FBCT. I don't know if you can add them after it's done but I think it would add a little softness.
i was planning on adding the eyebrows by painting them once tranfered, but the eyelashes! that is what she is missing. I will paint those on also! thanks so much that is exactly what she needs! oh I love CC! thanks franjmc!
