Guess what?? I learned today that if you get lusterdust on painted surface(my diningroom table, which is toll painted beige with fruits in the corners), it doesn't wash off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRR!!!!!!! Now I tried spraying it with a weak lysol/bleach mixture; nothing happened! I will try alchohol next and see if that works.

What a stupid thing for me to do!!!! icon_redface.gificon_cry.gif Lesson learned...hope that no one else learns this one like I did.

Try a little dishwashing detergent in a damp cloth, that's what I use and so far, no stains.

Maybe you can thin it with a little of whatever you used to paint it with (lemon extract, vodka, or ....)? It may come up that way, and the alcohol would not damage your painted table...I think. I hate it when stuff like this happens. It's good to learn, but does it always have to be the hard way? icon_rolleyes.gif

Have you tried one of them new Mr. clean sponge things? I love mine I actually got a very old kool-aid stain off the counter that bleach wouldn't touch. And the newest ones have a scrubber on one side.... give it a try you'll love it
