Ok so how about lemon cake with raspberry filling? Should I just mix the raspberry in with BC or should I do a mousse type filling.. my fist time doing a filled cake

Well, reading this just made me drool, so I think you're on to something with the flavor combination.
I would go with the mousse filling it's lighter and would be more raspberry-y
