Ok this is probably a stupid question but I have never even heard of FBCT before I got to this website. I can't seem to understand the directions in the article here on how to do it. I get everything up to tracing and filling in your design on wax paper...but then it loses me when it says to smooth the back. I'm supposed to just turn in over on the cutting board and smooth it???!!!! Am I just stupid? icon_redface.gif

If you go to www.baking911.com and type in frozen buttercream transfer in the search engine there you will find a different set of instructions. I found between the two sets of instructions I managed to figure out how to do it.

Of course you're not dumb. Those directions can be quite confusing but once you complete a FBCT you'll be able to see how easy it is.

While you are working on the FBCT you will be looking a the back side so just smooth what you have filled in (a sponge paint roller works great for this). You won't be flipping the FBCT over until after it is frozen (about an hour) and you are ready to put it on the cake. Then you will be able to see the beautiful front side thumbs_up.gif
