Hello, I am looking for a Checkerboard cake pan set that is NOT 8 inch..maybe a 10 inch..I already have the 8 inch but I was hoping to make a bigger Checkerboard cake....

Make your own! Get one of the #10 cans and cut two rings from it and get a can smaller for the inside and cut two rings from that as well..... ingenuity it the cake bakers best friend!

I've heard of people using the ring of a springform pan.....they come in many sizes. icon_smile.gif

I purchsed my checkerboard cake pan set from www.gooseberrypatch.com. It's either a 9 or 10 inch. I love it!! I hope this helps. icon_lol.gif

I simply split the 2 cake batters between two pastry bags, then pipe the rings of batter into regular pans... in lieu of spending a whole bunch of $$$ on specialty pans that only get used once in a blue moon. Works for me.

To use the springform pan, you simply remove the bottom, close the ring again, and place in the cake pan. This separates the batters....after pouring the batter, remove the ring...

I have the 8 inch as well, but now that I read DiH, I think that is a great idea.
