I am doing a 50th Anniversary Cake the end of April. She wants all white she would like to have the same as her wedding cake but no one can find pictures of it. So she remembers it having some kind of simple decoration on the sides of the cakes and white rosses. No Color. She wants to have all Squares 4 tiers and would like to have each cake decorated different. What should I do? I want the cake to look nice and not out there. Any suggestions??

one cute idea i have seen with wedding cakes is to have one layer with dots, one with swirls, and one with lines down the cake. Everything is white but it adds a little. Hope thats helps!

I did a 50th anniversary cake for my husband's Aunt and Uncle. It was 3 tiers, round with white roses cascading down the side. I did add gold ribbon and leaves, which you could omit. Just an idea- it's in my photo gallery if you want to take a look. GL icon_smile.gif

Thanks everyone. Those ideas have helped out a lot. I am very new to this online world and don't know where to look. When she told me she wanted all of the tiers to be different I was a little scared as having not done that or seen many of that. These pics have helped ease my mind. I plan on trying a small scale mock of this cake very soon. I will post pics when I do that. Oh by the way the cakes will be square with 18, 14, 10 and 6".
