I got inspired earlier this morning when I tried for the first time and then tasted the awesome BUTTER CREAM DREAM icing! So the inspiration took hold of me and I decided to go ahead and do a practice run of a pregnant belly cake (since I told my sister I would do one for a baby shower next month for a relative).
I thought I better make sure I can actually make this thing beforehand!
Anyway.....thanks to did5 and pinkpanther for their helpful suggestions and instructions....and also to ellyrae, whose photo I first noticed on here!
Just so you know....I just wanted to practice working with the fondant to make the dress. I wasn't in the mood to do any piping, but will definitely have fun with that next month when I do it for the baby shower.

I just used two 8 inch round pans. Instead of leveling them, I just rounded one pan off for the belly and cut out boobs from the other pan. I don't have the ball pan and this was JUST for practice today....so it worked for me. I may even just do it this way next month too.
and 2sdae....love your scriptures.
It's all my strength is gathered.
Thanks. It was actually fun to do too! Didn't take that long either. Maybe 20 minutes tops to do the fondant dress. And to think I was so nervous about whether or not I could do one. If it weren't for the people here, I probably wouldn't have even tried.
i made my first belly cake today too! it was fun, not as hard as i thought it would be!
