Roland Winbecklers Cakes Anybody?

has anyone attempted a cake like Roland Winbeckler's?
i bought his book awhile back from cakecentral....it looks fun, but havent really had the occasion to make a cake like this.
just wondering if anyone does this kind of cakes and if i could see them?

i should have mentioned that he is the guy that builds huge cake structures. i wanted to do a smaller one. anyway in his book it shows how he builds the cake stands. pretty cool if you dont have this book yet. its not that expensive either.

Wow, I had no idea who this guy was then I Googled him and saw his cakes....geez! Are ya kiddin' me?!?! That guy is somethin' else! I would LOVE to check out that book and see how he does that. Its just amazing how he makes the characters life-like! And again, WOW.

What is the name of the book, I am looking for two of his books and wondering where I could buy them as CC doesn't have them in stock.

the name of the one i have is
Roland A. Winbeckler's
Cake Sculpture
and sculptured figure piping


the book isnt very big, but what i really liked is the way he showed you how to build the cake stands. i want to attempt something on a very small scale.
