A friend of mine wants me to make a cake with a GI Joe on it -- not a doll but a fondant/gumpaste figurine -- how would I do this?

For figures I would go straight to aine2. She is the master. She has a tutorial (free) for how to make a face, on her website. She also has a tutorial (small fee) on how to make a whole figure with clothes. You could pm her for the the link to each tutorial. Good luck!
