I want to make a Dr. Seuss cake for my son, Dawson's 5th birthday. I need help with a rhyme to put on the cake and I am not a poet.

Here's an idea:

Today is special and very grand
For today we take Dawson to Birthday Land!

It will be fun and joyous and full of glee
There will be freinds and neighbors and family!

There will be presents and games and lots of fun toys
Plenty to share with all the girls and the boys!

You could change family to the whole family tree, and then it would rhyme.

That's great Susan but I don't think I can squeeze all that on the cake... Was thinking of something a little shorter. I saw a cake with the cat in the hat with a short poem " Everyone Cheer, Every one Whoop, Everyone welcome the baby named Coop" or something like that. Rhyming with Dawson is difficult. Thanks for the ideas though.

I'm chiming in probably way too late, but here is what I did for my daughter's 2nd bday - the rhyme was on her party invitations~
