My youngest sister and her husband just had their first baby this morning!
She went in the hospital yesterday afternoon and I couldn't get there until my DH got home from his meeting last night around 9 pm. So I left home at 10 pm and drove 45 minutes to the hospital.
She was progressing nicely....got to 10 cm and was told around 2am she could start pushing. We were all out in the waiting room for almost 4 hours before the doctor came out and said that the baby's head would not engage and all her pushing was for nothing. She was going to have to have a c-section after about 30 total hours of labor.
Poor thing....I totally understood having gone through the exact same thing myself before. FINALLY, about 7 am this morning Callan Edward (named after my dad) was born!
Just got back home about 10 am this morning without having slept a wink since yesterday morning.....and my 3 year old is on the go!!!! 
Oh well...just wanted to share! I just love those little ones!

Just became a Great Aunt myself. I always thought I would be much older when that happened. I'm only 32.
