Can anyone shed some light on poured fondant? Is it easy to use? Does it taste better than rolled fondant? Thanks!

poured fondant is nothing like the kind you roll, it liquid and you use it on petit fours and such.

It actually seems pretty close to that cookie icing recipe now that I look at it.

Poured fondant is very sweet and really needs a buttercream or other frosting underneath it IMO. In that regard, yes, it is like rolled fondant.
