I am going to be making a Spongebob cake soon. I pretty much have the cake planned out except for those wavy flowers. Would it be better to make them with royal icing or candy melts? Also, I want to make them ahead of time and dry them so they can be positioned on the cake ? Please help me, for I do not know what I'm doing!!!! icon_cry.gif

I would use candy melts. they taste much better than royal icing.

How would you recommend I go about setting them out to dry? Could I pipe the flowers onto parchment paper and then peel them off?

if you use candy melts just pipe them carefully because its kinda runny.aLL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE FOR 5 MINUTES OR SO AND THEY WILL BE ALL SET
